Since the 21 st century,energy and environmental problems have gradually become the focus of attention.Because supercharger technology can effectively save energy and reduce environmental pollution,it has be widely applied.Compressor is one of the core components of supercharging system,the stand or fall of compressor’s operating performance will has an important influence on supercharging effect.At present,using computational fluid dynamics software to numerical simulation of internal flow in a centrifugal compressor and using the finite element method to analyze the strength of impeller,is one of the effective means to ensure the compressor can efficient and safe work.In this paper,the research object is the centrifugal compressor in a type turbocharger.At first,this paper uses the ANSYS CFX,a computational fluid dynamics software,to numerical simulation of internal flow in a centrifugal compressor with splitter blades,and the results are compared with the internal flow in a centrifugal compressor without splitter blades.Through the comparative analysis,we can see that the internal flow compressor with splitter blades is more stable,and the operating performance of the compressor can be improved in a certain extent by using the splitter blades;Then,the effects of different length of the splitter blades made in the performance of the compressor are discussed,get the suitable splitter blade length for the compressor;After that,with the Static Structural module in the ANSYS software,do an one-way fluid-solid coupling analysis for the centrifugal compressor blade and impeller.We get the stress and deformation maps of the compressor blade and impeller under different loads in the design speed,and the part with the maximum equivalent stress or the maximum deformation and the part with the stress concentration phenomenon are identified;Finally,the impeller strength is calculated under different speed conditions,we get the maximum equivalent stress.According to the calculation results,the speed-the maximum equivalent stress curve is drew.From the curve,we know the low-cycle fatigue critical speed and the limit speed of the impeller.Through this study,we have a preliminary understanding of the internal flow in a centrifugal compressor with splitter blades,have checked the safety and reliability in the strength of the impeller.The simulation results can provide an important reference for further improving the structural of the impeller and increasing the service life of the compressor.
