Electric vehicles occupied more and more market share in the field of new energy vehicles,but the endurance mileage was insufficient because of vehicle-mounted energy-storage devices,for example power battery or super capacitor.To improve endurance mileage and energy efficiency,electric vehicles adopted regenerative braking technology.While,The advantages of power battery were high energy density,stable work voltage;the disadvantages were low power density,short cycle service life,low efficiency of charge and discharge.The advantages of super capacitor were high power density,long cycle service life,high efficiency of charge and discharge;the disadvantages were low energy density,wide working voltage range.So,a hybrid energy storage technology has been put forward to combine both advantages of power battery and super capacitor,by domestic and overseas research institution.This paper provided a theoretical basis for the control program design and hardware configuration on the regenerative braking system of electric vehicle by studying the theory of PMSM control and hybrid energy storage.Firstly,the regenerative braking system of electric vehicle has been simulated with the NI FPGA and Multisim Co-simulation technology that Multisim was used to build the model of this system,and the NI FPGA was used to design control program of this system.The simulation results of the system have been analyzed.The system control program has been able to make the whole system model run stably and had obvious regenerative braking effect.The hybrid energy storage technology has been able to reduce the current impact of the power battery effectively.Secondly,the experimental platform of electric vehicle regenerative braking simulation system has been built on the integrated control and test comprehensive experimental platform of multi-power electromechanical transmission system.This paper employed NI sbRIO-9606 OEM Device and NI 9683 Mezzanine Card as the controller of the system,configured the hardware of this system and designed complete system control program.Through the experiment,the results showed that the hardware equipment of the system were running smoothly,and the control program of the system could realize the regenerative braking function.In this paper,with NI FPGA and Multisim Co-simulation technology,the control program was employed in simulating system operation firstly,and was employed in the same performance experimental platform of this simulation system that had the same properties as the onboard device secondly,to reduce the risk of program debugging and technology transition.
