Design And Implementation Of Intelligent Home Control System Based On Internet Of Things

The Internet of things refers to a collection of interconnected objects with full awareness and people.The Internet of things is the core areas of national strategic emerging industries in the development of information industry,and it will play an important role in national economic development.Currently,the Internet of things is a hot topic of research all over the World,which has also been referred to the national strategic level.It is known as the third wave of the world information industry following the computer and Internet.Smart home is the result of the penetration of the Internet of things,and it is also an inevitable trend of technological development.A smart home system not only covers the common residential functions of the ordinary home,but also provides users with a more secure and pleasant living environment.A smart home system can help people to arrange time reasonably and efficiently,and save various energy expenses in daily life.Actually,the smart home system is getting more and more powerful with the development of Internet of things technology,cloud computing and triple play technology.With the explosive development and popularization of smart phones,smartphone applications in the smart home system are becoming more and more common.The penetration rate of the smart home in the family life is also getting higher and higher.Integration,mobility and cloud are becoming the mainstream direction of smart home.This paper detailedly introduced the development history and present research of smart home home and abroad.I designed and implemented an intelligent home control system with high feasibility on the basis of the development trend of the smart home.The temperature,light intensity and gas concentration data were collected by different sensor on the Arduino hardware platform.These data were then sent to the smart home server to accomplish unified management by the CC3000 module.I also programmed an Android application to remote monitor the whole system.The main function of the system is intelligent lighting control,temperature automation,remote control of home appliances and gas leak alarm.Users can easily and quickly remote control the entire home system through different terminals.This system enables the intelligent home comfort,convenience,safe and energy-saving.
