In nowadays,the city landscape development rapidly,In order to let the city image to promote in the global,more and more garden exhibition jointly organized by the state and local governments,such as Chinese International Garden Expo,the World Horticultural Exposition,show characteristic city platform for exhibition the city will introduce myself,the one and only of the regional culture into the world,hoping to promote the development of all aspects of economic,political,cultural and other.The international style now sweeping the world,Many cities abandoned their own excellent horticultural tradition,Resulting in the lack of horticultural characteristics,There has been a phenomenon of regional cultural convergence.Obviously,in many of the world’s horticultural exhibition park,How to highlight the characteristics of a park and regional cultural connotation will become particularly important,The performance of the city park area culture is an increasingly urgent and worthy of discussion.The study of the local culture expression of the exhibition garden is still in the initial stage,From the perspective of regional culture concerned about the theory of exhibition garden’s landscape is not that much.The current research is focused on the conceptual definition of garden exhibitions and the summary of the planning of the whole exhibition.The design specification of single exhibition is lack of the theme of the park landscape selection,style definition,construction techniques,the status summary and And how the regional culture through the landscape heritage and display.Many foreign designers are on the regional culture in the landscape of the expression of considerable attention.This paper starts from the research foundation between urban exhibition and regional culture and discusses the performance of regional culture of the Wuhan garden expo.In the theoretical part of analysis about the urban exhibition garden,Combined with the design principles of urban exhibition garden and the connotation of regional culture,Through the part of the urban garden of the Garden Expo as a case to discussion,get inspired,combined with the practice of analysis,and finally draw the conclusion.The main conclusions include:through the analysis of the case summarized in the two categories of expression of regional cultural methods about the urban garden.the two categories are through the humanities and natural characteristics to reflect the city’s regional culture.Which through the natural characteristics of the local culture to show the main ways to restore the natural landscape,rely on the form of regional landscape,creating regional plant landscapes and extracting regional cultural symbols of garden architecture.The method of expressing the regional culture through the humanities is mainly through the folk culture,the historical mark,the local culture to reflect the regional culture.I hope in future research,I can analysis and summary the performance of regional culture about the urban garden comprehensive and systematic more,In order to be able to show the benefits of the urban garden.
