With the continuous development of China's economic level,the construction industry in recent years,there has been new development trend.After the earthquake of Wen Chuan,the government began to gradually required to take necessary measures to strengthen the seismic safety for schools,hospitals and other crowded public buildings.Many owners no longer blindly only concern the construction cost control,but more and more taking into account the safety of the building.In this context,the Energy Dissipation buildings have a rapid development of the trend in recent years.Energy dissipation structure is divided into isolated structure and damping structure.The object of this study was the damping structure with buckling restrained braces.Buckling restrained brace is a kind of displacement type metal dampers,which protects the structure by consume the seismic energy through the core metal yielded.This study took a hospital project case and made three different structure models which were frame structure,buckling restrained braces-frame structure and frame-shear wall structure by YJK software for static elastic analysis and elastic time-history analysis.Summarize the advantages and disadvantages of the three structure systems by comparing their indicators of frequently occurred earthquake.Then reviewed the static elastic analysis of low-level earthquake result for buckling restrained braces-frame structure and frame-shear wall structure by PMSAP module of PKPM series software.Finally,made plastic dynamic analysis of rarely occurred earthquake and fortification earthquakes for the two structure systems by using PUSH & EPDA module.And a brief economic analysis was made at the end of the study.
