Water distribution system(WDS)has huge and complex network structure,and the water demand is uncertainty for industrial and life.So WDS is presented a huge challenge in the water supply reliability,safety and economy.The traditional manual operation method can not meet these requirements.Academia and industry have paid more and more attention to intelligent operation in WDS.In this paper,the research work on real-time operation of urban WDS is as follows:(1)Establishment of real-time hydraulic model of urban WDS.Based on the framework of EPANET-RTX real-time modeling,according to the network information and SCADA datas of S city's center district,and combined with improved EPANETRTX,establish the real-time hydraulic model of WDS for the center district of S city.The example shows that the real-time model significantly improve the simulation accuracy than the offline hydraulic model.(2)Comparative research on forecasting methods of water demand in urban WDS.According to weather,holidays and other factors,several conventional methods are compared and analyzed.Combined with the mechanism of water in S city,the combination forecasting method of autoregressive integrated moving average model and least squares support vector machine method is used to forecast demand of daily operation.The autoregressive integrated moving average model based on tendency is used to forcast demand of real-time operation.(3)Comprehensive evaluation of urban water supply pipe network operation status.Using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to establish the multi-objective two level evaluation system of WDS status.Evaluation index of WDS includes two aspects: hydraulic and water quality performances.Specifically,hydraulic performance include: pressure and fluctuations of nodes,flow and rate of pipes.water quality performance include: residual chlorine,turbidity,p H.Considering the mechanism of water in network,combined with SCADA historical data and industry standards,the dynamic evaluation curve for supply network was established,and the calculation method of weights in status evaluate is proposed.Finally an instance illustrates the application of water supply network status evaluate.(4)Research on data-driven urban WDS daily operation scheme.According to different water mechanism of network,evaluate and select excellent operation experience,and propose a data driven method for daily operation of WDS.On the basis of historical water data,mining and analysis of water mechanism and daily operation scheme in S city.Combined with daily water demand forecast to obtaine mechanism of water of the next day,and the optimal operation scheme of the mechanism of water is used as a guide for the daily oepration.(5)Case study on real-time operation of urban WDS.According to the different operation conditions,the real-time operation of supply network is divided into normal and abnormal real-time operation.Based on EPANET-RTX real time hydraulic model,water demand forecasting and network state evaluation.Optimal operation of WDS for intakes by genetic algorithm.In abnormal real-time operation,first determine the valve scheme.And then the network is updated using the valve scheme.Finally,combine with real-time model and network state evaluation to get abnormal operation scheme.The instance simulation shows that the method can obtain a good real-time operation scheme under normal and abnormal conditions.
