Bogie frame is an important load-bearing component in railway vehicle,and the running quality for railway vehicle is influenced directly by good or bad structure design of bogie frame.Design pattern with repeated iteration is used in the traditional structure design method of bogie frame for railway vehicle,which is depended on case-based experience design,performance verification and design revision,and which is also time consuming,and it is difficult to obtain the optimal solution which meets much mutual exclusive performance index.Basing on the design problem,the method and example of bogie frame design driven by performance are researched.The main work of the thesis and achievement are summed up as follows:(1)The structural characteristics of bogie frame is analyzed,and design parameters set,performance index and its evaluation methods are summed up,then some key problems in building the finite element model in simulation evaluation are summarized;(2)A method of performance driving design for bogie frame is proposed,and the process of bogie frame design driven by performance is established.A set of optimal structural parameters is obtained by inputting these performance parameters directly,then the dependence on experience and repeated iteration are avoided,so efficiency and quality in the design are improved.(3)These key technologies in the bogie frame design driven by performance are established,constructing the surrogate model of performance index calculation and the mapping model for performance and structural parameters set.So the problem that structural parameters set is designed straight by much mutual performance index is solved.And the optimal structural parameters set is selected by set theory approach,which meets these engineering requirements.So the problem of uncertainty of subjective choice is solved.(4)Bogie frame design driven by performance is performed based on an example of bogie frame.And the feasibility of method is verified by simulation evaluation.Furthermore,the method provides a new solving thought for structure design of bogie frame,which can be used in structure design of related product.
