In this paper,the new-type composite oil radiator for construction vehicles is taken as the research object,and its heat transfer and resistance performance are studied.The main structure of this new kind of composite oil radiator is made by superimposing the plate layer and the plate-fin layer alternatively on each other,it combines the structural characteristics of both plate radiator and plate fin type radiator.Moreover,a new plate structure is designed and analyzed.In this paper,a detailed analysis of the new type of composite oil radiator is carried out.Firstly,the theoretical basis of numerical simulation and the details of the new plate structure are introduced.The governing equations of the heat transfer numerical model,the RNG k-? model,the performance parameters and the evaluation criteria of the radiator are elaborated.The whole process of CFD analysis is described in detail,including the introduction of the structure,the establishment of three-dimensional model,the division of the grid,the setting of the boundary conditions and the steps of CFD simulation.Secondly,the discussion of the hot fluid side plate flow channel is carried out,the effects of the five structural parameters on the heat transfer and the resistance performance are analyzed.The five parameters are the staggered form,the convex row space L,the convex angle α,the punching angle β and the convex height h.The influence of these five structural parameters on Nu,j,△P,f and j/f is obtained by comparing the simulation results.Lastly,the overall performance of the new-type composite oil radiator is studied.The simulation results are compared with the experimental values.The results show that the error between the simulated value and the experimental value is less than 15%,which proves that the simulation method is credible.The four common flow modes and the influence of the number of radiator layers on its overall performance as well as the average heat transfer of single layer are analyzed.The distribution law of fluid velocity in the import and export of the new-type composite oil radiator is studied.The overall heat transfer performance and resistance performance of the new-type composite oil radiator with partition panel are analyzed.The plate radiator and plate-fin oil radiator model are built and simulated in order to compare with the new type of oil radiator.It is concluded that the heat dissipation performance of the new-type composite oil radiator is better than that of the plate radiator,but the resistance performance is not as good as the plate radiator.The heat dissipation performance of the new-type composite oil radiator is not as good as that of the plate-fin radiator,but its resistance performance is better than the plate-fin radiator.
