With the development of large-scale,high speed and automation of ship,the rapid efficient,economical issues,etc.has become important indexes for the acceptance of new shipbuilding.The influence of ship shafting vibration on the safety of ship navigation has always been a major concern of the shipbuilding industry.Under the circumstance,the rapid development of diesel engine technology makes new challenges on the ship shafting torsional vibration testing.This paper introduces the significance,research and development of ship shafting torsional vibration test,discussing several common methods,processes and principles of calculating torsional vibration of ship shafting.Based on the principle of torsional vibration test and measurement technology,this paper presents a set of convenient and practical testing device for the torsional vibration of the belt and introduce the structure,characteristics and application of the device.What‘s more,on the basis of the simulation of the mechanical properties of the belt and the mathematical model,the paper analyzes the influence of the vibration characteristics of the belt on the torsional vibration test.Finally,through the analysis of the test,data of different types of belt,the accuracy and influence factors of the torsional vibration of the device are been checked out.Therefore,this paper tries to provide the optimization and verification of the torsional vibration test method of belt pulley device,so as to make the device can serve the ship torsional vibration better and help to maintain the safety of the ship.
