Bulldozer considers a tractor as the original mechanical,is widely used in earth and stone works and a more common kind of engineering machinery models.Compared with tire bulldozer,the crawler bulldozer has good adhesion property,can adapt to different road environment and play a greater traction.So the application of crawler bulldozer is more extensive.Crawler travelling system is one of the most critical systems in the crawler bulldozer.It is not only the moving part of the bulldozer,but also the supporting part of the whole bulldozer.It can bear the running resistance of the working device as well as the self-weight of the whole machine.The performance of the traveling system has a direct impact on the performance of the whole machine,so this paper studies and analyzes the walking system of the high-speed crawler bulldozer.Firstly,it introduces the driving principle of crawler bulldozer,carries on the kinematics analysis to the crawler-walking system,analyzes the relationship between the track and the ground,introduces the ground mathematical model in RecurDyn.And according the traveling system theory the maximum traction force and the running resistance of the bulldozer are obtained.These theoretical analysis and calculation can provide a solid theoretical foundation for the kinematics and dynamics simulation of high-speed crawler bulldozer walking system and analysis of track plate.Secondly,this paper builds a virtual machine model using RecurDyn,imposes constraints and defines appropriate mechanical parameters.According to the actual work environment of high-speed crawler bulldozer,three typical ground models of hard,clay and dry sand are established in RecurDyn.The vehicle dynamics simulation is carried out for two typical operating conditions of high-speed linear motion and bulldozing cycle.It shows that under different conditions in different ground road wheel forces are different and have a fluctuation.The torque of drivingwheel on the hard,clay and dry sand ground increases in turn,and the track subsidence increases in turn,which indicates that the bearing capacity of these soils decreases in turn.And the driving torque increases with the working resistance.In the high-speed straight-line driving conditions,observing the vertical acceleration of the cab seat center of gravity,we can see that it is less than two gravity acceleration in three kinds of ground and is in the human body comfort acceleration range.In addition,the simulation results show that when the vehicle is running at high speed on the dry sand ground the track pin force and Z-axis contact force between the track shoe and the road wheel are the largest,and the maximum value are 83.3kN and 52.6 kN,which will serve as the calculate case and load extremum for the finite element analysis of the track plate.Finally,in order to better understand the dangerous working area of track shoes and grasp its stress distribution and deformation,there is a finite element analysis of the track plate.The calculation results show that the local stress of the track pin is larger,but it is less than the allowable stress of the selected material,which is in accordance with the safety requirements.
