Biological activated carbon filter is becoming wider and wider in all fields.But after a period of operation,due to bio-activated carbon adsorption capacity problems,resulting in water quality reduced during wastewater treatment process.Therefore,bio-activated carbon filter needs to Substitution activated carbon,a reasonable replacement of bio-activated carbon for the water plant to reduce operating costs has become increasingly important.Under the condition of water quality in the South-to-North Water Diversion Project,two kinds of experiments were carried out by changing the new carbon dosage and replacing new carbon,and a reasonable method of replacing the activated carbon was put forward.By analyzing the removal rate of ammonia nitrogen,UV254,chemical oxygen demand(CODMn),the Failure Index of Biological Activated Carbon was studied.To determine which indicators are suitable for judging the failure time of biological activated carbon pool.The results showed that the removal rate of ammonia nitrogen and CODMn in bio-carbon pool was relatively high,but in recent years,biochar pool water meet the "drinking water health standard" GB5749-2006,So it is not considered as a biological activated carbon pool failure index.UV254 water concentration is relatively low,but it can produce disinfection by-products with liquid chlorine,so considering the toxic effect it can be used as a biological activated carbon pool failure indicators,so it can be seen that if the removal rate of UV254 is lower than 10%,the adsorption of activated carbon pool is invalid.Different bioactive charcoal columns were studied during the experimental study of the amount of activated carbon,including the time of filming and the effect of water treatment of1 #(all new carbon),2 #(2/3 new carbon,1/3 adsorption saturated carbon),3 #(1/3 newcarbon,2/3 adsorption saturated carbon).By comparing the effect of water treatment,the best dosage of biochar pool can be carry out.The results showed that the membrane-forming time was 44 and 40 days with the film index of dissolved organic matter(BDOC)and ammonia nitrogen respectively.biological activated carbon have a good removal effect of UV254,CODMn,turbidity and DOC,and dissolved oxygen(DO)is not much different.3# bio-activated carbon column water quality treatment effect was significantly weaker than the other two bio-activated carbon column.It can be seen that the ratio of 2:1 to the addition of new carbon and adsorbed saturated carbon is appropriate.The film time and water treatment results of 1 #(all new carbon)and 4 #(all renewable carbon)bio-activated carbon column for were compared during the renewable carbon replacement new carbon test.The results showed that the membrane-forming time was 44 and40 days with the index of BDOC and ammonia nitrogen respectively.The removal rate of CODMn,UV254,DOC,turbidity of 1 #,4 # bio-activated carbon column are not much difference,and the ratio of incoming and outgoing water DO is similar.Indicating that recycled carbon for the new carbon has a good alternative effect,and it can be applied in biocarbon pool.In order to analyze the effect of backwashing and the effect of ozone on the amount of carbon,the effect of the bioreactor on the water quality before and after the backwashing of the activated carbon was analyzed.The results showed that after the hydraulic backwashing,the removal rate of water quality was significantly improved except turbidity.Because of some of the particles remained in the biologically active carbon column after backwashing,resulting in lower removal rate of turbidity.The treatment effect of 1#,2 #,4 # bioactive charcoal column before and after the backwash is better than 3 # bio-activated carbon column.Indicating that the backwash is conducive to bio-activated carbon to improve the treatment effect,but did not affect the carbon substitution ways.The water quality was studied after adding ozone,it showed that the effect of the bio-activated carbon column was improved obviously after adding ozone.Even if the treatment effect of the 1 #,2 # and 4 # bioactivecarbon column under the influence of ozone is still better than 3 # bioactive charcoal column.So the ozone dosing did not change the carbon substitution ways of bio-activated carbon filter.
