With the development of petroleum exploration,the heavy oil reservoir exploration becomes even more important.Now for these heavy oil reservoir,conventional thermal recovery technology is difficult to achieve great results,steam assisted gravity drainage oil(SAGD)can successfully solve the problem.In SAGD,electric submersible pump(ESP)plays an important role.Submersible motor,as a power part of the ESP unit,is the key to the protection of the normal operation of the whole unit,and its performance affects the quality of the whole ESP unit and longevity directly.The submersible motor works under the thousands of meters of the well,so there are many factors that can influence the reliability of its operation,but the temperature rise caused by heat plays the most important role.In this thesis,a submersible motor that can work in high temperature environment is designed and the temperature field is calculated under different environment.This thesis mainly analyzes the following researchFirstly,the background and the effect of the application of submersible motor are introduced and the basic structure and characteristics of the submersible motor are also introduced.The research present situation on the key technology used in different types of submersible motor and high temperature motor are detailed introduced.After determining the structure size of the motor,the two-dimensional motor model is established,and then study the environment of high temperature on the properties of motor electromagnetic materials,and verify the rationality of the motor parameters designed by the finite element software.Secondly,employed the finite element method and the analytical calculation,the loss of each part in the submersible motor is gained,which mainly contain mechanical loss,stator and rotor copper loss,tooth and yoke of the stator core loss.After the boundary and initial conditions are determined,the three-dimensional thermal model of submersible motor is established,mesh the model and the fluid field is set.Therefore each part of the submersible motor temperature distribution and temperature rise under the normal situation is obtained by three-dimensional finite element software simulation,as a result of that the high temperature performance of submersible motor is verified.Finally,the submersible motor temperature rise distributions under different operation conditions are analysis and provide reference advices for the actual operation condition;At the same,time temperature rise experiment and actual experiment is done on the submersible motor.Compared the result with the simulation experiment,and the correctness of the designed motor and the simulation experiment are verified.
