| Submersible motor, as an underwater power driven source, is often used incombination with submersible pump and a variety of underwater machineryequipment. The wet submersible motor is one of the submersible motors, which isslender structure and generally put to running vertically in the mines. The motor isfilled with water for cooling. As wet submersible motor was filled with water, thedamage of the external environment by the motor leak is relatively small and themanufacture cost was reduced due to the bearings lubricated by water in the motor.Because of these advantages, wet submersible motor has become the main directionresearch by the research workers. Although the wet submersible motors have theabove characteristics, there are still some problems in design that need to bestudied.A3150kW inside and outside double cooled wet submersible motor is studiedin his article that belonged to a company. It is carried out depth theory andexperimental research on the water friction loss that was generated during the wetsubmersible operation and rotor temperature field. It mainly included the followingcontent:(1) The water friction loss was generated due to the dramatic friction betweenthe surface of the rotor and the waterways in it with the cooling water when themotor was running. Since the viscosity characteristics of water was much largerthan that of air, it is made the motor mechanical loss accounting for a largeproportion of the total loss. Therefore, it was necessary to calculate the size of thewater abrasion. Water friction loss are analyzed and calculated based on the fluidtheory by the software ANSYS CFD. This paper also analyzed the factors thatimpacted the water friction loss in the wet submersible motor, and put forward themethod for reducing water friction loss.(2)As the wet submersible motor is adopted internal and external dual watercooling structure, its cooling effect was much lower than the temperature rise of aircooling structure. But taking the security of water winding wire and insulation intoaccount, the allowable temperature rise of wet submersible motor was40K.Consequently, calculating the temperature rise of the motor accurately becamenecessary. The paper established the finite element model of the rotor by heat transfer theory similar to fluid flow, and the three-dimensional temperature fielddistribution of rotor was calculated.(3) Finally, load loss and temperature rise are test on the3150kW motor, andthe water friction loss and temperature rise of the rotor are gain on the ratedrunning circumstances. At the same time, it made a comparison and analysis for theresults of experiment and the simulation, and verified the accuracy of thesimulation analysis. |
