With the rapid development of China's economy recent years, thedevelopment oftransport industry is flourishing.Asthe majorcarrier for transporting liquid cargo, tankvehicles are widely used.Owing to the high center of gravity of tankvehicle, the impact of liquid sloshing on the tank wall isobvious.Researchonthe liquid sloshing in tank has practical significance in preventing vehicle from rolling over to avoid the traffic accidents. Therefore, the main research work of this paper is as follows:1.Determine the shape and size of the tankthen utilize FLUENT softwareto simulate the impact of liquid sloshing in tank. The lateral force, lateral moment and the position of the center of liquid in tank can be obtainedunder different liquid filling ratio and different acceleration conditions by FLUENT sofeware.2.Analyze the data obtained from the simulationboth in time domain and frequency domain, aquire the dynamic characteristics of the liquid in tank under different liquid filling ratio and different acceleration conditions.3.A Damping-Mechanical Spring-Mass mechanical model was established to simulate the impact of liquid sloshing in tankon the tank wall.Obtain the expression of the lateral force and lateral moment of the equivalent system on the tank wall.4.MATLAB software is used to identify the first-order and second-orderparametersoftheequivalent mechanical model based on the time domain identification method and the least square method.Verifythe accuracy of the modelby comparing with the exact solution.5.Analyze the relationship between the parametersof equivalent mechanical model and the liquid filling ratio and the relationship betweenthe lateral force, lateral moment of the equivalent system and the liquid filling ratio.Using Simulink which is a dynamic system simulation tool of MATLAB softwarebuilding model to analyze the changing trend of the lateral force and lateral moment of the equivalent system which is impacted on the tank wall under different acceleration conditions.
