With the increasingly continuous development of the economy and the science and technology,the demand of the society in the construction has being changed.Long long ago,the structure form of the architecture is regular and simple.With the integrated development of building functions.modern architectural form have became complex and diverse.During decades of research and practice,structural engineers try their best to solve the problems arising from the structural techniques.At present,the structure form complicated can satisfy many tall buildings,including the connected structure.The connecting structure is a special structure form which is connected between the two buildings or several high-rise buildings by the overhead connection,which can meet the requirements of the architectural modeling and the useful function.The connecting body can span from small to large,from several meters to meters,which can meet the requirements of the structural force and arrange more buildings along the vertical.The structure of the connected buildings is novel and its application scope is more wider and wider.It is of great significance to research on how to use the simple and effective method to improve the seismic resistance of the structure.In this paper,the concept of the earthquake and the impact of the earthquake on people are introduced.In addition,the classification and stress characteristics of the connected structures are briefly introduced.Listing several lead rubber bearings and their role in earthquake.Then,the Twin Towers connected structure model with lead rubber bearing are established.Combined with the finite element analysis software named SAP2000,the modal analysis,response spectrum analysis and time history analysis of the three models were carried out,comparing the effect of the lead rubber bearing in the earthquake resistance.In this paper,the method of using the lead rubber bearing in the joint structure is studied and analyzed:1.The Twin Towers connected structure model and the Twin Towers connected structure with the lead rubber bearing are analyzed respectively.Comparing analysis of their cycle,vibration mode and mass participation coefficient.2.To establish two kinds of lead rubber bearing stiffness models,response spectrum analysis,two kinds of model of floor displacement under earthquake and interment displacement angle,different influence response of different stiffness of the lead rubber bearing on the earthquake.3.The model of the Twin Towers connected structure and the Twin Towers connected structure model with the lead rubber bearing were selected,and three kinds of natural seismic waves were input.The displacement and acceleration of three seismic waves under different connections modes are compared and analyzed.It is concluded that the lead rubber bearing has obvious damping effect at the connection between the main structure and the connecting structure.And in a certain range,the greater the damping of the lead rubber pad,the more story displacement and the torsional degree decreases.With lead rubber bearing model of joint shear significantly less than the shear of rigid joint,it shows that the lead rubber bearing,Ming weakened the connection between the two subjects.Therefore,in the later in the design of the towers conjoined,when USES the lead rubber bearing,the design of the twin towers conjoined structure,can be reference to single pylon structure design,the degree of mutual restriction between the towers is reduced greatly.So,the design can reduce the increase as a result of mutual restriction between the twin towers stiffening member measures.Saves materials greatly,and save the resources,and reduce the cost and make it become more economic.This has significance for twin towers conjoined structure,with a simple solution,can solve the big problem to enhance and strengthen the stability of the structure vibration resistance.
