The blade is one of the key components on the aviation engine.The quality of the blade has a decisive influence on the reliability,life expectancy and safety of the engine,thus affecting the performance of the aircraft.For the manufacture and testing of the blade of aviation engine,the domestic technology and equipment are relatively backward,the key technology needs to be introduced from abroad.Therefore,the domestic blade manufacturing and measurement technology is still a hot topic.At present,template detection,visual inspection and other traditional methods are also used in domestic for blade detection,which are backward technology,low efficiency,and poor accuracy.A kind of edge detection system based on machine vision detection is designed for the blade of aviation engine in this paper,using digital image processing technology,and being used to detect high precision and high efficiency.The blade is placed on the worktable firstly,under back light irradiation,the blade is imaged on the photosensitive sheet through the CCD camera and transmitted to the computer.The image processing method is used to filter the image of the object,edge extraction,sub-pixel processing and edge fitting,data analysis,get the measured characteristics,and then compare with the standard blade characteristics.In this paper,edge extraction Canny algorithm is studied.The process of the algorithm is analyzed and improved,which improves the clarity and accuracy of the extracted edges.In addition,the sub-pixel edge detection algorithm based on the two curve fitting is used to locate high precision positioning edge.The experimental results show that the improved edge extraction scheme proposed in this paper is superior to the traditional algorithms and techniques,and the blade edge detection with high efficiency and high accuracy,also many unnecessary errors are avoided.The stability and reliability of the system are verified by repeated measurements.Therefore,the automatic processing of blade edge detection is realized,and the efficiency is improved.This research in terms of blade edge detection at home has a certain reference value,which is of great significance to improve the quality of the blade of aircraft engine.
