In recent years,with the development of social economy in our country,people’s standard of living have been increased.At the same time,vehicles come into our life at an incredible speed.The popularization of vehicles have been convenient for people’stravel,but it have also caused a series of social problems.Especially for the sharp rise in traffic accidents,it has threatened to the safety on life and property of people seriously.The safety monitoring system for Vehicle what canavoid the occurrence of traffic accidents effectively has very important significance for the security of people’s daily travel.Through studying and analyzing a large number of literature,investigating the domestic market,combining with the video image coding technology and video image processing technology,the paper puts forward a design scheme on the system of vehicle monitoring system based on Hi3520 D processor,which has the function of Image acquisition,processing and displaying in real time.For this system,the paper adopts the modular design and main includes video acquisition module circuit,video storage module circuit,the peripheral interface circuit of Hi3520 D processor,power supply circuit and so on.In addition,this paper takes safe measures such as filtering,voltage regulators and over-voltage protection for the power supply module and take electromagnetic compatibility,static protection and the design of heat dissipation for the integrated circuit board.In software aspect,the logic design of function implementation about video acquisition module on I2 C control,video capture unit,video processing unit,video coding unit,video decoding unit and video displaying unit were introduced in this paper.The safety monitoring system for vehicle finally completes the acquisition of four-way videos,the real-time display of single channel video and panoramic stitching video.The SD card interface and hard disk interface are provided to achieve storing mass videos.After the work of designing,electrical commissioning work for the whole system is accomplished.The experiment of panoramic stitching was did in the laboratory and the experiment of realvehicle monitoring was did outdoor.As a result,the system achieves the expected performances basically.
