The freeway is fully enclosed,multi lane,with central separation belt,a full interchange,centralized management,access control,a variety of safety facilities and services supporting a full range of high standard vehicles dedicated highway.Highway is an important support for the economic development of a region,can provide a great thrust for the economic take-off.In recent decades,with the rapid development of the national economy,the traffic infrastructure of the country has been an unprecedented development,to better serve the economic development,provinces are the industry of transportation invested a lot of financial and material resources,vigorously carry out the construction of highways,urban roads.Yunnan Province,although the highway started late but strong momentum of development,the province's high-speed highway has been built more than 0.4 kilometers.However,the ensuing traffic safety problems have become increasingly prominent,not only causing heavy casualties and serious economic losses,but also led to many social problems,is not conducive to the harmonious development of society.Annual traffic accidents occurred more than 200 thousand road traffic accidents.In order to effectively reduce the occurrence of traffic accidents,it is not enough to pay attention to the geometric design of the road itself,and the reasonable setting of traffic safety facilities must be paid attention to.Purely due to the road environment caused by traffic accidents is relatively small.Many data show that most accidents occur due to the road conditions of driver's psychological and behavioral i mpact,as road conditions caused by bad driving behavior is caused by the occurrence of traffic accidents.Road traffic safety facilities is an important part of the road environment,road traffic safety facilities setting is reasonable or not directly related to can effectively guarantee driving safety,reduce traffic accident occurrence rate,standardized and effective guidance of traveling.This paper takes Yunnan province Shiping to Yuanjiang Expressway(the factory),mainly to carry out the work:(1)according to the characteristics of mountainous area traffic,in Yunnan Province as an example,on the mountain different network under the condition of traffic volume and distribution characteristics were studied and taking it as the breakthrough point,through the analysis of traffic accidents in the area,on mountain highway safety features were analyzed.(2)the general traffic safety facilities are introduced,and the design principles of general safety facilities are summarized.At the same time,the paper introduces the types and design principles of the highway emergency escape lane.(3)rely on in tour highway,focuses on highway design in the tunnel area,wet road with small radius of road signs for evaluation and optimization.In addition,on the basis of the existing norms,through the energy conservation principle,from the point of view of the brake temperature on the highway emergency escape Lane set up to assess,and put forward the corresponding feasible optimization.(4)based on driver's driving work load and speed of the two methods,of the tour highway alignment safety were evaluated and points out that the dangerous sections of the security risks,to provide reference for design improvement.
