The traditional engine is divided into reciprocating piston engine and rotary rotor engine.Which reciprocating engine after a hundred years of development and optimization,is widely used in car,marine,aerospace and other fields.However,due to the complex structure of the reciprocating rotor engine itself,there are inherent defects in the way of doing work,thus limiting the power to weight ratio and efficiency of the upgrade,it is difficult to meet the ever-changing new machinery on the engine high performance requirements.At the same time with people on the environment and energy and other issues continue to attach importance to the rotating impeller internal combustion engine as a new type of rotary internal combustion engine was put forward.Compared with the traditional reciprocating piston engine,the impeller of the rotary impeller internal combustion engine replace the reciprocating linear motion by the rotary motion,eliminating the need for loose crank connecting rod mechanism,avoiding the generation of reciprocating inertia force,the structure is very compact,the total number of parts.Therefore,the rotary impeller type internal combustion engine compared to the traditional reciprocating piston engine,there are the following advantages:(1)high weight ratio;(2)low fuel consumption;(3)vibration is small,low noise;(4)low emissions;(5)less parts,low cost.In this paper,the numerical simulation of the exhaust,intake and compression process of the rotary impeller internal combustion engine at rated speed was carried out,and the influence of the speed and intake parameters on the cold flow field in the combustion chamber was discussed.Through the research and flow analysis of the working process of the rotary impeller internal combustion engine,it is found:In the exhaust process,the average parameters of the combustion chamber are basically reduced first and then increased.In the intake process,the average parameters of the combustion chamber first drastic changes,then gradually smooth,the average pressure becomes smaller.In the compression process,the average parameters of the combustion chamber generally increased,gas flow stability.At different speeds,the average change trend of the combustion chamber is basically the same,but the higher the rotational speed,the more complicated the gas flow.For the intake parameters,the vertical intake is conducive to the intake and exhaust process.The higher the intake air temperature and the intake pressure,the higher the average parameter in the combustion chamber and the more severe the gas flow.
