The basic premise of oil field enterprise safety in production is guarantee the Reliable power supply.Compared with the ordinary power system,oil field power system has its own unique characteristics,specially the load is mainly composed of motors,pumping units,sucker rods and oil-well pumps.Each Production cycle of pumping unit has two strokes: the upward stroke needs a lot of driving torque,but the downward stroke driving torque is small,even negative.As a result,the running way of the load repeated change between the motor and the generator.The running way of the load will lead to the motor frequently starting up and stopping.When the motor's capacity reaches a certain size,the impact of the motor's starting up and stopping to the oilfield power system is very large,even influence the security and the stability running of the power system.Therefore,further study the impact of the motor's different starting up and stopping ways on the oilfield power system's transient stability is helpful to ensure the system safety operation and to guarantee the normal production of the oil field.At first,this paper analyzed the research object and scope,basic mathematical model,analysis method and main simulation tools of the common power system transient stability problem.Then through in-depth analysis the characteristics and the main influence factors of the oilfield power system,established the transient analysis and calculation mathematical model.Based on the analysis of the motor's steady-state and the dynamic models,discussed the influence of asynchronous motor starting up and stopping on oil field power system transient stability.This paper's emulation oilfield power system is located in the Middle East.Using Paladin Design5.0(that is the oil and gas field of electric power system widely used software upgrade version of the EDSA)power system simulation software to analysis the oilfield power system transient stability by adopting time domain simulation method.Through to the simulation events of the full voltage start,the star-delta start,the rotor side series resistor start,full voltage start when different voltage level line fault,different load factor and different inertial time constant,analyzing all kinds of the asynchronous motor starting up and stopping influence on system transient stability,and according to the simulation results give Suggestions for the improvement of oil field power system transient stability.
