The concrete face rockfill dam is mainly composed of face plate, toe plate, cushion layer, transition layer, main rockfill zone and secondary rockfill zone.Concrete impervious panel plays a key role in seepage control of Earth-rock dam.It is necessary to consider the effect of ice pressure on the damaging effect of ice pressure in the cold area of northern China.Because with the change of temperature and ice form,in order to study the effect of freezing ice load solid state of concrete face rockfill dam, this paper carried out the corresponding simplification, this paper uses finite element analysis software ANSYS to analyze and simulate the ice contact and panel with contact element.By contrast, the two methods have a high degree of coincidence. In addition, the use of ice displacement and static ice load to calculate stress of concrete face rockfill dam face plate, and made a comparative analysis to validate the model, and the different ice thickness, different ice position influence on concrete face rockfill dam are analyzed, through the collation and analysis of the maximum principal stress under different conditions and the panel panel and the ice layer contact state, draw the corresponding rules. The results show that the maximum principal stress increases with the increase of thickness and displacement of ice cover. The lower the water level is,the greater the influence is.But limited impact. In this paper, the method of calculating the maximum principal stress of the panel with ice displacement is proposed. The calculation method of this paper has some maneuverability, and the final results show that the freezing of reservoir has little effect on the panel, which is consistent with the observed data, which proves the feasibility of the method.
