The electric power as the foundation of the national economy,the rapid development of the daily production and life directly affects,and the reactive power existence influences the stability and safe operation of the power system,reactive power compensation has already become and improve the smart grid development in the world of power efficiency of the main research problems.The balance of reactive power has become an important technical means to improve power quality.Real time,fast and accurate compensation of reactive power has important practical significance in maintaining voltage stability and optimizing the structure of power network.However,the traditional reactive power compensation technology is relatively backward,which can not meet the demand of power system compensation.With the improvement of the performance of power electronic devices,the use of static var generator(SVG)to compensate reactive power is the future direction of development.In this paper,the problem of reactive power compensation of SVG in Taizhou power grid 10 V is studied.First the basic theory of reactive power compensation of SVG were introduced,clear SVG working mechanism,mathematical model,reactive current detection,control strategy and advantages,establish feasibility of SVG low voltage side 10 kV users compensation based on DSP control;secondly,the reactive current detection method and using the instantaneous current control method of dq transform as the fundamental,the realization of SVG hardware and software research output voltage 400 V,output power 10 kvar,and through MATLAB simulation;finally the application of SVG Unicom IDC room,Taizhou ZTE Taizhou branch data center,Taizhou sugar three 10 kV user tracking analysis,draw the conclusion: SVG for low side 10 kV users compensation.To improve the power factor,voltage stability and power quality improvement effect is very significant,can be extended.
