With the development of industry,we have upgraded the level of information technology,people have entered the age of big data.China have issued a series of big data action regulations,aiming at urging domestic enterprises start the research of big data.big data research in thermal power plants started relatively late,most of the research in plants is lack of practical application.Thermal power plant as a foundation for the enterprise,its safety and stability effect the national economic life.With the development of information construction in the power plant,many information management systems have been installed in the power plant.Although the information system of power plant to do a lot of data analysis,but these systems have difficulty in analyzing the data quantitatively,and the system data encoding is not uniform,there exists information island.The thermal power plant hopes to analyze the large amount of data in the data warehouse,and establish a large data analysis system,so as to achieve the purpose of data aided decision making.Based on the researching results of the target plant,the author finds that it has great significance to set up a big data analysis system in the target power plant.In this paper,the author combined with the actual data of the target plant and the status of the data analysis,product a big data analysis system,completed the following work:(1)Coal consumption evaluation: put the data in the data warehouse of power plant into big data analysis,using cluster analysis method and the regression method to find out the relationship between the impact factor and the coal consumption,and build a coal consumption index evaluation model.(2)Problems analyzing and forecasting: Based on the analysis of historical data of the target plant,find out the fault symptom of special fault,then forecast the time and type of the future problems.(3)Performance evaluation: applicate the data analysis technology,analyzing the working status of every operation team on duty,assessment the results as the operation team performance appraisal reference,and provide decision support for managers.
