So far energy saving and environmental protection index of coal-fired power generation in China is becoming more and more strict.Energy saving and environmental protection of power generation enterprises are facing urgent demand.For example,the most common type of domestic 330 MW Subcritical Units need coal consumtion of 337g/kwh although it is the advanced level.There is a considerable gap between the national requirements of 310g/kwh.Shall we say,if these power generation enterprises want to continue to survive,they must make a determined effort to complete the transformation of energy,otherwise they will not be able to get rid of the results that be shut down by the country.In order to complete the country's coal consumption index requirements,and ensure the production order of the power generation enterprise is not shaken,all power generation enterprises have begun to carry out energy-saving transformation.From some energy-saving transformation which are provided by the state,we can say energy-saving transformation are divided into three main ways.They are turbine body energy transformation,auxiliary engine energy transformation and thermodynamic system energy transformation.The most common way to save energy in turbine proper is to reform the steam turbine flow passage.In order to validate the effect of steam seal reconstruction,a steam turbine was selected to test the thermal performance before and after the retrofit.The test result shows that the replacement of the new steam seal has a good effect on improving the economic performance of the unit.The most common method for energy saving retrofit of auxiliary equipment is frequency conversion of condensate pump and frequency conversion of electric feed water pump.In order to verify the effect of the retrofit of the auxiliary engine,the performance tests of the condensate pump and the motor-driven feed pump of the unit are carried out before and after the retrofit respectively.The test result shows that the frequency conversion of the condensate pump and the frequency conversion of the electric feed water pump have obvious effect on reducing the power consumption of the unit,and can effectively improve the economic efficiency of the unit.The most common way to save energy in thermal power system is to transform the heating system.In order to verify the effectiveness of the heating transformation,two units of the same type are used for heating transformation and without heating.The thermal performance test is carried out respectively during the heating period.it shows that the heating transformation has great advantages in the calculation of the experimental heat consumption,and can effectively improve the economic efficiency of the unit.330MW subcritical units avoid being eliminated by the society,they must be reduce their energy consumption from different directions in order to adapt to the impact of change,to better serve economic construction,but also create more economic benefits for themselves.
