| With "Kyoto Protocol" signed,SF6 has been designated as one of six kinds of limiting emissions of gas,it definitely becomes trendency to restrict or prohibit the use of SF6 gas is in development of power system.Although the market of Solid Insulated Switchgear has started,but the author believes that the current direction of Green GIS is to use dry air as insulating media as much as possible,to use thermoplastic materials,so as to reduce the environmental impact during the product life cycle time.Although this will greatly increase the difficulty of R&D,but this leads many companies to move to Green GIS direction so as to reduce the overall environmental impact.This subject aimed at the current Green GIS research by studying the mechanism of gas discharge and air gap insulation,using dry air as the insulating media,without changing the current SF6 GIS size,optimizing the design by using the electric field simulation to reduce the electric field strength of key components,and to compensate insulating performance degradation comparing SF6 to dry air,thereby achieving optimized insulation performance of Green GIS.Solve the weaknesses of small insulating air gap discharge and triple junctions design challenges,breaking the traditional research process such as "from experience design to the large number of tests,and then modify,and then test",significantly reducing the product development period,and reduce development costs with fianl theoretical and practical value.Corresponding HV insulation test verification,and to compare the test results with the electric field simulation,this provides valuable experience in further Green GIS R&D. |
