Direct air-cooling units with high parameters and large capacity have been widely operated at rich coal and water shortage areas in China.To ensure safe and efficient operation is the common goal of all power plants using this type of unit.According to the needs of the field,developing the direct air-cooling unit economic operation online monitoring and guidance system has important engineering application value based on analysis the energy consumption mechanism of units.This paper takes the 300 MW direct air cooling unit in a power plant as the research object,based on the existing operating parameters of the unit,analysis and calculation models of the boiler thermal efficiency,the units and the whole plant thermal economic indexes were established.The direct air-cooling unit economic operation online monitoring and guidance system were developed.The real-time quantitative calculation for operation energy consumption of the unit can be realized,the guidance rules for real-time operation were given.Based on computer information fusion technology,combined with the structural characteristics of the power plant real-time database,a visual operation platform is built to realize the online monitoring and operation guidance of the economic operation of the unit.Application shows that the operation energy consumption and consumption difference can be real-time monitored and diagnosed to the direct air cooling unit,and then can guide the operation of the operator.The system provides a technical support for efficient and clean operation of direct air-cooling units.
