| With the development of Chinese "west-to-east power transmission" program, the applications of direct air-cooling systems are booming during the periods of "The 12th Five-Year Plan". Although air-cooling technology can save lots of water in comparison to the water-cooling method, the air-cooling technology has a lot of drawbacks, such as high back pressure, low efficiency, high coal consumption. In recent years, China’s Ministry of Science and Technology has started planning for a five-year air pollution prevention and control project which causes more stringent requirements for the plant.The researches in regard to the direct air-cooling plants are mainly concentrated on the optimization of initial and back pressure of direct air-cooled unit. The researches in terms of the whole plant are still mainly accomplished by thermal calculations and stimulation. The experiments are very little.According to the analysis of current major economic indicators of 4*600MW subcritical air cooling unit, field experiments about the optimization of initial and back pressure of direct air-cooled unit are proposed. On this basis, the further calculation about influence of those factors on index economic indicators is made, which concludes the distribution and reason of unit energy consumption, and makes the direction and emphasis in the further energy conservation work clear. The technology approaches and implementation plan of energy conservation of two units are targetedly presented. The unit energy consumption level after each improvement is predicted, which will indicate the work of optimal power plant operation, equipment maintenance and technological transformation, and move towards the goal of energy saving and consumption reduction in power plants. |
