In recent years,with the worsening environmental pollution problems and the enhancement of energy saving awareness,energy saving technology and equipment are getting more and more attention.In industrial production,along with the production of products,a large amount of industrial waste heat is releasing into the atmosphere,which not only caused the thermal pollution of the environment,but also waste energy seriously.Because of fewer requirements on temperature of absorption heat pump,a lot of waste heat generated in industrial can be recovered by using this characteristic,and reach to enhance energy efficiency.In the thermal power plant,the waste heat which is recovered by the absorption heat pump,is used to meet the needs of heating,and achieve step utilization of energy.The fuel specific consumption analysis is an analysis method of energy usage,which is based on the second law of thermodynamics.The evaluation index is the fuel consumption of products.The minimum energy consumption of a product is the theoretical minimum fuel consumption,according to the different production processes,additional consumption loss is not same,and so the actual fuel consumption is also different.The fuel specific consumption analysis focus on the whole process which includes fuel,thermodynamic system and product.By analyzing each production process,the fuel specific consumption analysis point out the size of energy conservation potential.In this paper,we analyze the cogeneration system by using the theory of fuel specific consumption.The calculation model of fuel consumption and exergy efficiency is established.Taking the example of 300 MW cogeneration system with absorption heat pump in a thermal power plant as an example,it clearly shows the distribution of the irreversible loss of each production process.The calculation results show that the biggest share of loss is the cold source loss of steam turbine.The loss of absorber is maximum,then the generator in the absorption heat pump.The cogeneration system with absorption heat pump is more energy efficient,and increase electrical generating capacity.
