To improve the reliability and efficiency of the insulation structure design of high voltage electrical equipment,according to the needs of practical engineering design 35 k V STATCOM hanging chain,in the design and development process of the engineering power cabinet,the use of mechanical drawing software Solid Works,the power cabinet is designed into a three-dimensional model,and the model is introduced into the finite element analysis software ANSYS,simulation analysis the power cabinet was electrostatic field,the simulation results help power cabinet design.The analysis shows that: 35 k V electrical equipment voltage level and above,due to the higher voltage,even in strict accordance with the national standards for insulation structure design,influence of insulation level by processing parts,in parts of the edges and corners,n the part of the edge and corner joints,insulation materials,there may be the local electric field intensity is too high,causing the phenomenon of partial discharge.There are two ways to solve this problem,one is to improve the processing technology of structural parts;the other is to divide the potential of the whole electrical equipment into pieces,and then carry out insulation design.
