With the rapid development of railway and the improvement of the train speed,the security of railway has become more and more impotent.And the main cause of railway accident is the invasion of foreign object,so improving the precision of the detection become the main purpose of the article.The method to solve this problem is mainly based on the digital image processing,so this article studied various of image processing knowledge and detection algorithm of foreign object intrusion,especially for moving target detection,and realized the goal of accurate testing of foreign object invasion.The main research contents of this article are organized as follows:Firstly,the thesis deeply analyzes the facing and the existing problems of the railway operation safety supporting system,emphasized the intelligent recognition of foreign object invasion in rails is of great significance,and designed a system of intelligent recognition of foreign object invasion,which focused on the recognition of linear rails and detection of foreign object.Secondly,knowledge commonly used in image processing,such as image filtering,edge processing,image processing is introduced in the article.and some simulation experiments are also done which are related with image processing algorithms.These provides a theoretical basis for the thesis writing and simulation.Again,two kinds of commonly used linear detection method,such as Hough transform and Radon transform,and their application in linear rails recognition are studied detailed.Their advantages and disadvantages were also analyzed,thus improved algorithm of linear rails identification based on Radon transform is proposed.This algorithm selects the edge points by the threshold,at the same time use the angle difference and average distance between two lines to recognize the line of rails.Simulation results show that improved algorithm is faster and accurate than traditional algorithm in line rails recognition.The purpose of it is to determine the detection line,which provide basic conditions for the detection of foreign object invasion.Finally,the theory of frame difference method,the background difference method,and optical flow method for moving target recognition are studied,According to their application fields optical flow method is not applicable for foreign object detection in this paper,the background difference method and the frame difference detection method can be used.Then the simulation experiment which adopted the frame difference method and the background difference method shows the advantages and disadvantages of each algorithms,then a thought that using the Sobel edge operator to deal with the result of background difference method is proposed,the simulation result shows that the result of this thought is more clear and accurate,also it do well in shadow remove.So a fusion algorithm based on three-frame difference method and background difference method is proposed.The simulation experiment shows that the fusion algorithm do well in moving target detection.Finally,determine whether the invasion moving object of is the train by the related prior knowledge,if it isn't,make an alarm,then the railway departments will make corresponding countermeasures according to the actual situation.
