Reentry maneuvering warhead has important strategic significance and a high application value. In this paper, the control problem is studied, based on the needs of the development of the reentry maneuvering warhead. The research issues include nonlinear, instability,time-varying characteristics, coupled of MIMO control problems. Eventually, a Trajectory Linearization Control method which has strong robust performance is presented to solve nonlinear time-varying and coupling characteristics to achieve attitude stability control over wide range of dynamic pressure and Mach number. The details are as follows:The kinematics and dynamic models of a reentry maneuvering warhead and its flight aerodynamic parameters are established. Reentry vehicle is a hypersonic aircraft. Relative to the normal aircraft, reentry maneuvering warhead has its own typical characteristics, which are mainly reflected in the uncertainty, nonlinear, coupled, time-varying characteristics. With the conclusions of the analyzing, the control ideas and control methods are made.Concerning the nonlinear problem, time-varying characteristics of reentry maneuvering warhead, a Nonlinear Dynamic Inversion control method is presented to deal with nonlinear characteristics and achieve decoupling between channels. The control method is completed in two parts: first, the mathematical models is simplified, the affine nonlinear model is divided into the inner loop and the outer loop, accordance to the principle of separation of time scales.Then the controllers both of inner loop and outer loop are designed. However, this method lacks robustness, in the presence of interference and modeling error, tracking error is really large, which requires it combination with other robust control methods to improve their robustnessConcerning the uncertainty characteristics of reentry maneuvering warhead, TLC is introduction to improve the robustness of the system. Firstly, use the Nonlinear Dynamic Inversion method to obtain the pseudo-inverse of the system, convert the trajectory tracking problem into a nonlinear time-varying tracking error adjustment problem, and then design a closed-loop feedback mediate state law, making the whole system to obtain satisfactory control performance. TLC can realize stable track and control of system, has strong robust performance in present of large uncertain.
