Ultrasonic atomization is an important application of power ultrasound field, which has a lot of use in the petrochemical industry, medicine, daily life, spraying, dusting and so on.Ultrasonic atomization transducer is used to atomize the liquid and it is the main part of ultrasonic atomization system, its main function is to convert the AC electrical signal into an acoustic signal in the ultrasonic frequency range. The main role of the ultrasonic generator is to generate the AC signal which ultrasonic atomizer transducer needed for the work. Since the ultrasonic atomization transducer operation, the series resonant frequency will be affected by the changing occur load, changing temperature and other factors, which led to the frequency of the drive signal their needs will change. If the ultrasonic generator exports the drive signal frequency which can not track ultrasonic atomization transducer series resonance frequency in real time, ultrasonic atomization transducer will be hot, or even damage, seriously impact on atomization. Therefore, this article has been studied the ultrasonic generator which is used for ultrasonic atomization and designed a prototype, studied experimentally spray applications.Firstly, electrical models of the ultrasonic atomizer transducer are analyzed, based on the analysising results, the series inductance matching circuit is selected to eliminate the effect of static capacitance. And then the physical mechanism of ultrasonic atomization are analyzed,by analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of different atomization method, this paper finally chose the ultrasonic atomization type: electro-acoustic transducer type ultrasonic atomization.Secondly,contrary to the problem of the ultrasonic generator can not track the frequency accuracyly, this article designs the ultrasonic generator from both aspects of hardware and software. The hardware design includes control module, signal generation module ,isolation module, power amplifier module, sampling module, a processing module, phase processing module and human-computer interaction module. Software section presents the segmentation variable frequency step of tracking ideas, by phase processing module, the phase difference signal is obtained,which is used for the control module to process. Depending on the size of the phase difference, use different frequency tracking step, finally to achieve the purpose of quickly and accurately tracking the series resonant frequency of transducer.Finally,the atomization performance of the entire ultrasonic atomizer system is tested.The performance of various module components of ultrasonic generator and the frequency tracking performance are tested respectively. In order to detect the performance of the ultrasonic generator mentioned herein, then conduct the PEDOT: PSS spray application experiments,and the experiments show the effectiveness of the generator.
