As a common means of transport,the ship has experienced a long developing process since its inception. However, the early ship does not provide our daily life with convenience due to its small size,simple structure,low safety performance etc. With the appearance of larger sailboat, people realized for the first time that ship has a powerful transport capacity as a transport. So far, people make driving force as the main research direction. Afterwards,application of diesel engine has propelled the unprecedented development of modern ships.So far, ships has become large-scale and ocean transport.it has been more than one hundred years since PID controller successfully applied to the field of industrial control,and it still has a very wide range of applications.In actual use,people only need to set three parameters to the link of proportion, integral, differential,so that PID controller can resetting the input parameters and make the system stability.However,because of the complexity of the modern ship power system,obviously of time variant.The traditional PID controller are unable to make timely and efficient adjustment to the ship power system.The fuzzy PID controller is the application of fuzzy control theory to achieve the ratio of the traditional PID controller, integral, real-time optimization parameter differential of three aspects, and then achieve the ideal control effect. Fuzzy PID control has several important components including fuzzy of parameters fuzzy rule reasoning, parameter solution fuzzy.based on the set of input and the feedback signal,computer calculates the deviation of the actual and theoretical positions and the current deviation change,then go on fuzzy inference according to the fuzzy rules.at last,computer decompose the fuzzy parameters ,gives out the proportion of output PID controller, integral, differential coefficient.Based on ant colony algorithm, fuzzy control theory can get higher optimized initial values under few repeated trials, allow system to responds to changes faster and more accurately in the operation of diesel generator set. In practical marine electric power system,two or more sets of diesel engine always run in parallel. Diesel engines run in parallel can keep the voltage frequency stability, improve the reliability of diesel power station power supply while load changing. Marine electric power system would not be affected when one diesel engine breaks down. It can reduce cost of load running, meet the need of diesel generator set expansion, reduce the total cost of marine electric power system,increase or decrease diesel generator quantity in the power station according to load.
