The artillery rocket is very vulnerable to various disturbances in flight and deviates the predestinated trajectory and resulted in dispersion errors. One of the most important issues must be considered in artillery rocket design is how to reduce the dispersion errors, the method to resolve this problem, which come from the guidance technology of missile, is mostly that design simple control system to correct the artillery rocket trajectory to reduce the errors now.Simple control system designs mainly related to the kinematic model of the artillery rocket?the pulse jet control and the selection of the inertial measurement components and other issues. Around these issues, the movement of artillery rocket and the pulse jet control law is analyzed and simulated in this paper.Based on the establishment of the spinning artillery rocket kinematic model in this paper,the nominal trajectory of the spinning artillery rocket is simulated, and a detailed analysis of the trajectory characteristics and the attitude motion parameter variation is carried out. The trend analysis of the artillery rocket speed?axial acceleration and spin rate could be as reference to the pulse jet control and the selection of inertial measurement components. Then design the simple control system program, and introduce the principle of the simple control system. Micro inertial measurement unit and pulse jet are the major components in the simple control system. The work principle is described and some of their performance indicators are simply analyzed. And both force control mode and moment control mode are elaborated, the logical conditions of the control commands are also given in this paper.The research priority is the trajectory correction by used pulse jet to control the spinning artillery rocket. First the kinematic model is established contained pulse control force and pulse control moment, and then the force control mode and the moment control mode are simulated and analyzed, and the effect to the trajectory is compared by the two control modes,finally the moment control mode is established as the control mode of the spinning artillery rocket simple control system. In the moment control mode, some conditions such as the mounting position of the pulse jet?the pulse jet work time?the artillery rocket spin rate and the interval between two pulse jets work are considered, the trajectory simulation is done and the trajectory characteristics are analyzed respectively. The law which the ability to change the artillery rocket trajectory when the impulse?the mounting position and the interval changed could be summarized from the simulation results. But to the spin rate, the more high spin rate the more stable flight to the artillery rocket, the simulation results could confirm this, but the ability to change the trajectory is less. To further validate the effect of using the pulse jet to suppress the disturbance, the pulse control is applied in two cases in this paper,which are the launching angle error and the lateral wind disturbance. The simulation results show that it could effectively reduce the dispersion errors caused by the launching angle error and the lateral wind disturbance through choosing the appropriate pulse jet.
