The development of mechanical processing and transmission results in a higher demand of key machinery parts. Journal bearing is one of the most widely used support and transmission parts and its lubrication property has a great effect on the working efficiency and stability of the machinery. Therefore, a more desirable lubrication model building and experimental studying of its lubricity is of practical significance.Based on the theory of fluid dynamic lubrication, this thesis thoroughly studied the lubrication mechanism of a cylinder journal bearing through simulation analysis and bearing test.First, this research study revises traditional Reynolds equation with the help of shaft bending model and asperity contact model, in which way the bearing model will more tally with the real working condition. Second, this research study chooses JFO boundary condition, the most desirable boundary condition of this research, by comparing different boundary conditions of oil film pressure through theory analysis and stimulation calculation. Third, this research study mainly focuses on the design and development of the bearing test bench. It offers a detailed interpretation of the unique design and possible function of the test bench. Also, the chief mechanical structure design and system testing were introduced. At last, this research study draws a conclusion after a large amount of simulation calculation and experimental analysis of different data. And conclusive regulations have reference value on the further study of bearing lubrication mechanism and the perfection of the bearing design.
