Steel structure is used more and more widely in multi storey residential buildings in our country,especially the steel frame structure with infill walls.In recent years,the influence of several large earthquakes at home and abroad shows that there is a complex interaction between infilled wall and frame in earthquake.Therefore,in the design,considering the influence of infilled wall on the performance of the whole structure under the earthquake will become an urgent problem to be solved.In this paper,using the finite element analysis software ANSYS of 13# steel structure residential Tianfeng in considering and not considering the role of filling wall,respectively applying El Centro wave,Taft wave and artificial wave.Recording and analyzing the maximum acceleration of each storey,maximum displacement of each storey drift and storey drift angle,the top displacement time history and shearing force time history of the bottom.obtained filling walls collaborative working with steel structure residential law under different seismic waves.According to the analysis of the above results,it is found that the strength and stiffness of the steel structure residence are improved effectively after considering the influence of the infill wall.However,in the design,we should fully consider the layout of the infill wall and the connection form between the infilled wall and steel frame,so as to make better use of the effect of the infill wall on the seismic performance with the steel structure residence.
