Frame structure with infill walls is one of the most common structural system in the civil engineering. Because of its convenient, flexible layout, and many advantages. it is used for the civil engineering of school, shopping malls, office, factories, hospitals, hotels, etc.. The beams and columns as the force component to withstand the vertical and horizontal loads, the infill walls as a non-structural elements is generally only for envelope and cut off. Numerous studies indicate that infill walls have a great impact on the frame structure in the bearing capacity, stiffness and deformation capacity, but the conventional structural designing often focus on the the main body while ignoring the non-structural elements, it is unsafe. Many earthquake show that the destruction of non-structural elements is not a secondary factors. Therefore, we should fully consider the impact of infill walls on the frame structure. At present, domestic and foreign scholars have done a lot of experimental study and theoretical analysis, But there are still problems need further research, This paper carried out the following work:1、Summarizes the test and theory at home and abroad on the frame structure with infill walls, Seeking the main factors which affecting the seismic performance of RC frame structures, Establishing the quantitative indicators on performnce level of RC frame structure with infill walls to explore the infill walls on the frame structure under horizontal seismic by numerical simulation analysis.2、To establish structure analysis model with different simplified model, Consider the different seismic waves and peak using dynamic time history analysis,Comparading analysis of different model to seek the difference and identify the impact of infill walls on seismic performance of RC frame structures3、Respectively, Taking into account the conditions of filling wall layout and wall materials, by comparing the structurevibration cycle, the maximum horizontal displacement, the maximum story displacement angle and maximum floor acceleration of the layout of infill walls on seismic performance.4、Made the pushover analysis for frame structure with infill wall and the pure frame structure, consider of the structure of the base shear-top displacement relationships, performance at the point structure of the floor displacement and inter-layer displacement angle of plastic hinges at the development, assessmentseismic performance, and clarify the impact of infill walls on seismic performance for frame structure.
