In recent years, more and more researchers pay attention to bidirectional DC/DC converters. The bidirectional DC/DC converters are used in solar power generation, electric vehicles, supercapacitor systems, etc.,which require power for two-way transmission. In the process of power conversion of the converter, the transmission efficiency is very important,so how to improve the efficiency is worthy of our study. In this paper, first the bidirectional DC/DC converter is introduced after interleaving and magnetic integration are applied to it,in the case of buck mode, different modes of operation are analyzed in detail, the steady-state current ripple of BDC when operating and the expression of transient current variation are deduced.Secondly, the BDC circuit contains a lot of components, which produce the corresponding loss when operating, the loss of each part is detailed derived calculated. In the case of operating under high frequency, the switching loss accounts for the majority of the total loss, and the soft switching of ZVS is used to suppress the turn-on loss of switches, and the control process and the realization condition of ZVS are derived. After that, channel control technique is adopted to solve the problem of low light load efficiency of BDC,and the optimal phase-shedding current expression is derived. Finally,by comparing the experimental efficiency curve of BDC before and after optimization,It is clear that the transmission efficiency of the BDC is greatly improved after the two control methods are used, and after optimization the converter can achieve efficient operation in full load range.
