The folding bicycles is a kind of famous product for people, and the design of it is very sophisticate.However, with the social and the technology's development, folding bike users has found new demands and needs.Through the investigation of the folding bicycle users, we have determined that the design demand for the folding bicycle is more conform to the user's psychology and extrude the user's personality .So the purpose of this subject is to do innovative design for folding bicycles through comprehensive systemic design ideas,this is to get a more reasonable folding bicycles innovative design in all aspects of the structure,further more in line with the user requirements.Meanwhile provide a system design ideas and design process to folding bicycles.The overall process can be divided into users and market research stage,design analysis stage and the rationality of the validation stage. According to the system design,the design system elements of the folding bike are divided into several aspects such as man-machine size analysis, shape design analysis, structure analysis, material analysis and color psychology analysis.Dividing into three steps at product market research phase according different research object.The survey population is divided into the following categories:the people who familiar with folding bicycles.the using and the potential consumer groups.The results of the study shows the high-end consumers are target users of folding bike,they have more requirements of show individual character and hope folding bike can more in line with their psychological and physiological when using it.Applied systematical design idea,divided folding bike into several subsystems respectively in order to analysis and design such as man-machine, structure, shape, color and material subsystems.Using Punctuation to design relationship of man-machine of folding bicycle.Applied the method of TRIZ contradiction matrix to solve the contradiction between the strength of the folded structure and maneuverability when design structure,then finally folding structure was determined.According to the principle of shape aesthetics and the result of user expectation to do modeling designed and analyzed. The carbon fiber and aeronautic aluminum alloy were tested in the material analysis,then combination of dynamic simulation analysis to determine the size of structural materials.The ADAMS dynamic analysis and ANASYS intensity analysis were used in the rationality analysis to verify the rationality of structure design.
