With the expansion of city scale and the change of urban form and the three-dimensional development of transportation, traffic congestion has become the norm of modern urban traffic, the development and utilization of underground space engineering such as tunnel engineering solve the problem of urban traffic congestion,at the same time, there are other problems, such as land subsidence and damage to surrounding buildings. Therefore, based on the existing research,the following aspects are studied:(1) Based on the law of ground settlement caused by tunnel construction, the paper expounds the factors influencing the surface subsidence, and then analyzes the reasons for the damage of the building, and discusses the theoretical basis of the tunnel simulation process.(2) On the basis of the analysis of the ground subsidence caused by the construction of Qingdao tunnel. According to the characteristics of construction, the surface settlement induced by tunnel construction in different construction methods is analyzed by ABAQUS, the settlement of the double side drift method, CRD method, step method, full section excavation method are increased; According to the geological conditions, the characteristics of the stress, the best choice is the double side drift method, followed by the CRD method, the upper and lower step method,full face excavation method, Therefore, in the choice of the construction program, It is important to consider, the more steps the more complex construction, which can affect the integrity of the surrounding rock.(3) Analysis of building settlement caused by tunnel excavation, Midas is used to analyze the settlement of the ground frame structure in different excavation methods,The results show that the settlement is from large to small: the full section method,step method, CRD method, double side drift method. The settlement curve is similar to that of the ground settlement and the settlement of the building, however, due to the existence of the structural stiffness and the load of the building structure, the ground settlement caused by the surface deformation and the construction change is different, but the settlement are not large, respectively, 0.28%, 14.99%, 15.2%,12.6%.(4) Effective control of the surface before excavation, according to local hydrogeological conditions, the construction measures of Qingdao tunnel should be optimized, and the measures to prevent the damage should be given along the building.The surface settlement law of shallow buried excavation construction method is adopted to verify the Peck formula, to actually play a certain reference role, it can provide reference for rational use of underground space.
