Entering the new century,with the rapid development of electronic control technology,the automotive industry has taken great changes,automotive electronic control technology also has become the key technology of modern car control system,from the engine CAD design and simulation to finalize the design,from the laboratory prototype test to the matching of electric control system,from the application of ECU to the calibration of the control system,have become the important link in the process of automotive engine development.This dissertation is on the basis of the engine test bench calibration test,mainly for engine cold start process of research.By adjusting control parameters,including the engine ignition advance angle,injection volume and injection time,tests of engine external characteristic calibration have carried out on engine test bench.Both consider the motives of emissions in the process of test,the power performance and fuel economy performance is the best performance of matching by adjusting and calibratingcontrol parameters reasonably,so that realize the cold start and engine performance under various working conditions of the best,and maximize the reducing emissions of pollutants.For automobile exhaust emissions,on one hand,is at the national level from China ? emission limits to soon will execute the V emission limit value,the Department of State Environmental Protection,the State Bureau of Quality Technical Supervision gradually strengthened the pollutants of vehicle emissions limits,on the other hand,engine manufacturing enterprises from their own also strengthened the technical improvement and innovation,the use of advanced research and development tools better development engine,automobile production enterprises have invested a lot of money and technical personnel for the experiment in automobile low emissions technology research and product development.In spite of this,compared to North America,Western Europe,Japan and other automotive industry developed countries and regions,China's emission regulations of pollutant discharge in limit restrictions are still in a lower level,and it is also a primary problem to be solved for China's auto industry urgently.This dissertation mainly includes the following content:Firstly,the introduction of engine cold starting process,systematic analysisconsisting of fuel quality,fuel injection characteristics,and fuel supply system of injection,transport,and entering process into each cylinder,the distribution characteristics of mixture and the function,the inlet air flow features,the fuel combustion in cylinder,and the introduction of measuring tool for products of combustion.Through research on the mechanism of HC formation,in the process of cold start from multi-angle,multi-level to analyze depositional mechanism,transmission mechanism and the oxidation mechanism of HC,control HCemissions in the sourceof productionand nature,to reduceits emissions in the proportion of total emissions.Utilization of software tools and systematically on engine test bench calibration experiment for control strategy research of cold starting,to adjust the control parameters and calibrationby monitoring the engine operating parameters,and implementation of the engine power performance,fuel economy and emissions of the best match.Reduce emissions of pollutants in the process of engine cold starting.
