With the rapid development of China's electrified railway,the continuous increase of railway transport capacity,catenary system,as a core part of the electrified railway,which carries out to provide power from the traction substation to the electric locomotive, the reliability of which is directly related to the security and the stability of railway transportation. As the support and locative structure of the overhead contact system, the supportive device passes all the mechanical load from the catenary to the catenary mast, its reliability is directly related to the reliability of the whole electrification railway. Thus, the evaluation of the reliability of the supportive devices is a very important theoretical and practical significance to assure a safe,stable and reliable operation of railway substation.This thesis uses the high-speed railway catenary support device and its components as the research object, combined the catenary's faults survey datum that collected from a lot of parts of the nation, summed up the support device' s main failure parts and its failure mechanism by using the method of statistical analysis.This thesis is divided into five parts. Backgrounds and significance of the research are introduced and the research status of the support device is also presented in the first chapter.The second chapter introduces the equipment and structures of the high-speed railway catenary supporting device, mainly for the installation forms, the role of the constituent parts and matters needing attention of the maintenance. It also includes the composition and different ways of positioning of the positioning device, focusing on the types of the locator and summarizing the characteristics of the positioning device of high-speed railway from all over the world. The third chapter introduces the commonly used method of reliability modeling, discusses the basic principle of the bayesian network and its advantage and compares the fault tree analysis and the Bayesian network, finally introduces the details of the way to transform the fault tree into Bayesian networks. The fourth chapter summarizes the failure information of each basic components of the support device by statistical analysis of the failure investigation from the nation, then introducing and calculating its reliability evaluation index. The fifth chapter introduces the process of the reliability evaluation,analyses the reliability of the support device according to the research results, establishes the fault tree model and transform the model into the Bayesian network. Then accomplishing the two-way evaluation of the operation reliability of the supporting device by using the two-way reasoning of the Bayesian network, finding out the weak links of the system,and finally giving the specific measures to improve the operation reliability of the high-speed railway catenary supporting device.
