Today the development of urban construction is becoming fast and fast, the urbanization development is facing severe challenges: insufficient land or shortage of land resource, green areas reduction, urban population increase,traffic jam, energy consumption increase, environmental pollution, rising house price, etc. Making efforts to develop and use underground space resources and expanding human activity space are urgent. However, in the process of the development and use for urban underground space, due to were uncertain to determine the level of anti-floating and fortification, serious ignored the effect of groundwater, the problems such as using inappropriate measures for anti-floating are increasing so as to cause anti-floating accident happened frequently, which brought bad effect on the society, caused a lot of economic loss. This paper took the accident of failure of a community's underground garage anti-floating as the example, focusing on underground garage rises, change and crack due to weak anti-floating bearing capacity to study for the following aspects:(1) Investment for accident of anti-floating failure and analysis for damage feature: Investing the situation of the accident, describing the condition of damaged structure and analyzing the features of damaged structure. Through looking through data related to program to analyze from the aspects of investigation, design, drawing review, construction, and supervision to draw the reason for the accident which is because the carelessness of the above aspects causing during the construction period, underground garage bearing capacity could not resist underground water buoyancy.(2)Combined with natural hydrological conditions on site and investigation data to determine the water level for anti-floating and fortification again;According to the features of the program, choosing the plan counter weight method with the best suitability from economy and applicability.(3)After practicing a flood period for test, the community's construction quality of the underground garage anti-floating reinforcement program was good,the reinforcement effect was excellent, which can provide reference for similar engineering accidents.
