The automobile transmission is the important device in the automobile transmission system.It can change the input shaft and the output shaft to the transmission ratio,commonly known as transmission.Its performance has a direct impact on the performance parameters of the vehicle.The automobile transmission is composed of the actuating mechanism and the transmission mechanism,some of the automobile have output mechanism.With the development of the auto industry,People’s demands for the performance of the automobile transmission is also higher.The transmission test bed is an important method to study its load carrying capacity,performance improvement and optimization design.A certain type of vehicle’s want to make some relevant improvements,increase the original engine rated output torque,That is,increase the rated input torque of transmission.In this paper,Analyze the strength and rigidity of the existing transmission box of this type of automobile and verify whether it can meet the working requirements of improving the torque and proposed the improvement plan.In this paper,The 3D modeling and finite element analysis of the transmission box are carried out by Pro/E and ANSYS software,based on a certain type of automobile transmission,Check the strength,rigidity and the corresponding vibration characteristics of the transmission box under the increased rated torque.The main research work is as follows:(1)Comparative analysis of transverse and longitudinal,three axis and two axis transmission of their respective advantages and disadvantages.Finally,We gets this paper’s characteristics of transmission;(2)we accomplish the design of structure of the gearbox,and according to the specific parameters of the structure,the 3D modeling of the transmission box and the virtual assembly of the parts are realized by Pro/E.(3)We analyze the process of delivery and transformation method of transmission box’ load,under the maximum load of the transmission box.According to the fourth strength theory,After the analysis,the conclusion is drawn that the strength and stiffness of the original design meet the requirements of the working condition,and it provide the basis for structural optimization.(4)We make finite element restriction mode analysis to the transmission box,According to its inherent characteristics,we analyze the resonance interval of natural frequency of box and gear mesh frequency,Study the vibration mode of the resonance range of the box body,determine the structural position where the frequency influenced biggest,so as to avoid the resonance range.It put forward to the optimization scheme which.change the local structure of the box by add reinforcement plate.After the modal analysis and the static analysis,the optimization scheme is simple and effective...
