With the rapid development of high-rise buildings in the past ten years,the requirement for the building function is becoming higher and higher.In order to meet the requirements of large space building,transition structures often need to be adopted.In the field of research on the form of transition,vierendeel truss transition has the features of light weight,explicit transfer mode of force,helpful to reduce the vertical displacement of shear wall above chord and bending moment of the chord,making the layout of ventilation,lighting and large pipe system more convenient,easy to demonstrate unique architectural art and features.However,in practical engineering,the application of vierendeel truss transition is not very popular because of its more complex construction and constructional details.The experiment and research on this structure is also not enough especially in the part of the seismic analysis of the holistic analysis,component analysis and node analysis and these are far less maturity than ordinary beam type transition of high-rise building structure.To this end,this study takes high-level transfer building of commercial and residential integration in Hefei as background and then do the comparative analysis of seismic performance and internal force characteristics under different structure forms of transition layer in high-rise building.(1)The whole structure with ordinary transfer beam built by YJK is taken into general design and elastic analysis.Then the typical structural parameters are taken into analysis-such as mass,period,base shear force and lateral displacement-in order to verify the correctness and rationality of the calculation model.(2)The normal transfer beam is rearranged into an vierendeel truss transfer member,and then the static analysis whose key point is the difference of seismic performance and force characteristics from different forms of transition structure is carried out to compare with beam transition structure.The results show that the shear-bending stiffness ratio of vierendeel truss structure is about the same with that of beam transition structure and compared with the beam transition structure and interlaminar received shear ratio of the layer just below the conversion layer is obviously improved and the abrupt change of the external seismic external force at the transition layer is obviously lower than that of the beam type transition.(3)Under the rare earthquake,this study for vierendeel truss transition structure use Midas-building finite element software to do the analysis which belong todynamic elastic-plastic time history analysis module.Then based on the analysis result of the structural stress and strain at each moment of the earthquake,this study could focus on the process of internal force change from elastic stage to inelastic stage and the gradually damage of components.The results indicates,under the rare earthquake,upper and lower chord trusses,transfer columns and most vertical poles are not yield;shear walls and frame columns are little partially yield;energy dissipation component are mostly yield;the maximum story drift angle meet the requirement of the standard limit.Therefore,vierendeel truss transfer structure generally can insure the building that doesn't collapse under large earthquake.A few of the vertical poles of the transfer layer are yield at the intersection with chord trusses so that strengthening these sections' connection construction measures is the key to improve its bearing capacity and ductility.
