Coal-fired power is the main form of electricity generation in China,and the coal consumption in coal-fired unit accounted for about 70% for the total in our country.With the development of economy,energy consumption in China increased year by year,which inevitably leads to environmental pollution problems,that means reducing the coal consumption of electricity supply is of great significancec.Energy consumption analysis of thermal power unit is mostly based on the first law of thermodynamics and the second law of thermodynamics,however,they need a complicated computational process which consumes a great deal of time and energy.The key of the unit operation optimizationi is to determine the target value of parameters,and the methons mainly includedesign value,test methodand thermodynamic method.Because operation conditionare complicated and thermodynamic system and parameters have a high-dimensional nonlinear relationship,the methods tend to be limited.With the development of on-line monitoring technology in electric power production process,the power plant has accumulated massive operation data,and then big data technology is gradually extended to the power industry.Firtly,based on big data technology,this paper built energy consumption model with the big data mining algorithm of BP neural network and Elman neural network,and by comparing efficiency and accuracy between the two models,selected the BP neural network model as energy consumption model to find the relationships between operation and parameters of thermal power unit and predict the coal consumption of electricity supply.Then the initial parameters of energy consumption model were selected and MIV-BP energy consumption model was built tosimplify the complexity of the model and improve modeling efficiency,by the way,the mean impact value can be used to weigh the energy consumption sensitivity of parameters.Finally,the controllable operation parameters that have greater energy consumption sensitivity were optimized to reach the optimum value under a certain condition,The big data technology that applied in the electricity generation,accurately predict coal consumption of electricity supply and realise on-line monitoring,then optimize the operation condition of the unit,which can keep the unit operting at the best condition and reduce the coal consumption of electricity supply for maximum.It can provide reference for operation adjustment conducted by operation people on site.
