With the rapid development of telecommunications and computer technology, in the grid application is more widely, network communication has become an important pillar of the support grid security, responsible for the important information data transmission electric power dispatching real-time data of power dispatching data network is the basis of modern smart grid and dispatching automation. With the in-depth implementation of the strong and smart grid construction strategy, the automation level of power grid will gradually increase, dispatching data network construction, improve and perfect also put forward new requirements, improved and optimized dispatching data network becomes more and more urgent. If the scheduling data network design is reasonable, can improve the scheduling control network transmission performance,on the contrary, it wastes a lot of money,resources,and will cause serious problems in the safe operation of the power grid.Foshan is an important manufacturing city of China, and the construction of safe and reliable power dispatching data network is an important part of providing safe power supply. This paper studies the optimization of Foshan electric power dispatching data network. According to Foshan City, the network structure,communication network and dispatching data network status, while considering the development trend of the future power grid, dispatching data network of business in line with the statistics and forecasting, and on this basis were optimization design.Firstly, combined with the basic principles of dispatching data network, the network structure of the dispatching data network is determined, and the network structure of the access layer, convergence layer and the core layer are designed. Combined with network structure and the present situation, choose the appropriate routing protocol,formulate the corresponding routing strategy, develop VPN classification scheme,area and province networks are interconnected; in addition, also developed dispatching data network security management scheme. Through the selection of a series of programs to develop, so that the Foshan power grid to establish a comprehensive coverage, safe and reliable, reasonable structure of the power dispatching data network, to enhance the level of safe operation.
