Rollover accidents have high fatality rates,and often cause serious traffic accidents with many people injured and property damage.In variety of rollover accidents,the trip accidents have the highest probability.On the other hand,different occupant constraint states could make different human dynamitic response,especially with or without seatbelt and curtain in rollover,which could result in varying degrees of occupant injury.From this point of view,referring to two different finite element models under four different constraint conditions,this paper studies the dynamic response and human injury of the occupant,who seats in the front of the tripped vehicle and away from the barrier.Specific work as follows:1.First,the test conditions and parameters of a SUV trip test were studied.The finite element simulation and verification of the test were carried out to prove the reliability of the finite element model.2.Based on the validated model,studied the dynamic response and injury of the Hybrid ? dummy in four different occupant situations,which are without seatbelt and curtain,with seatbelt no curtain,with curtain no seatbelt and with seatbelt and curtain.Concluded the dynamic response and injury rules of the Hybrid ? dummy away from the barrier,and the effects of seatbelt and curtain on Hybrid ? dummy.3.Based on the validated model,studied the dynamic response and injury of the THUMS in four different occupant situations,which are without seatbelt and curtain,with seatbelt no curtain,with curtain no seatbelt and with seatbelt and curtain.Concluded the dynamic response and injury rules of the THUMS away from the barrier,and the effects of seatbelt and curtain on Hybrid ? dummy.4.Compared the two situation on Hybrid ? dummy and THUMS finite element model in the same trip model.Summarized the same and different rules of the dynamic response?human injury and the effect of seatbelt and curtain on different finite element model.By contrast,the laws of human body dynamic response?human injury and the effect of seatbelt and curtain in the trip were confirmed.
