Laterite widely distributed in Jiangxi Province Jiangxi Province would have a large number of project for high embankment of laterite such as highway high-filling embankment,railway embankment and airport along with a large number of infrastructure has been constructing for poyang lake ecological economic zone.we usually strictly requests the post-construction settlement and uneven sedimentation to ensure the safety of the project but soil would have wetting deformation because the complex environment,water Infiltrate fill or influence by atmospheric rainfall.if it were too large for wetting deformation,pavement would have appear caved,cracked substantially affect bridge safety and common functions.therefore,studied for wetting deformation of laterite and embankment of laterite for wetting deformation have significant means to safety of embankment of laterite.This paper structured constitutive models of wetting deformation through microscopic constitutive models of unsaturated laterite and catastrophe model.studied laterite of wetting effect by conduct experiment of incomplete wetting deformation for single line method and compacting degree of laterite meet 0.93 through fully automatic triaxial apparatus.And comparing with the test result of different way through conduct experiment of wetting deformation for controlled matric suction on GDS unsaturated triaxial apparatus.Conduct indoor mode test of embankment of laterite.simulate law of wetting deformation when slope of the embankment on engineering conditions of water level fluctuation or the slope of the embankment on engineering conditions of rainfall.Using a self compiled program to simulation analyze wetting deformation of the mode of the embankment and comparing with result of experiment.Analyzed wetting deformation of number for the mode of the embankment on situation of different dam height or situation of different wetting height.The main research content is as follows:(1)Take saturation angle through formula of catastrophe model by microscopic constitutive models integrated with catastrophe model.Take can be directly controlled water content through formula of catastrophe model through the relation between the water content and saturation in microscopic constitutive theory.we have inferred functional relationship appears for direct reflecting the relation between the water content and wetting deformation.And used formula to validate result of experiment then we find between the result of calculation and the test result is similar.(2)Conduct basic physical and mechanical properties test for laterite and analysis mineral consisting and internal constitution by XRD experiment and SEM experiment to aid soil wetting effect analysis process.(3)Conduct experiment of incomplete wetting deformation for single line method and compacting degree of laterite meet 0.93 through fully automatic triaxial apparatus.The experimental result indicated that the additional block strain velocities increase with additional axial strain the increase speed of wetting deformation has become slow in later stage.we got empirical equation between confining press,stress level and wetting deformation wetting axial strain velocities increase with principal stress difference,shear strength of wet line reduces obvious.Analyzed and summarized result of incomplete wetting deformation.the incremental wetting deformation with saturation increase reflect a law of delaying exponential.we got Duncan-Chang parameter on different saturation by curve of deviator stress-complete or incomplete wetting strain.And conduct soil-water characteristics tests through GEO-Experts pressure plate for wetting deformation of experiment and numerical simulation provide necessary parameter.(4)Conduct experiment of wetting deformation for controlled matric suction through GDS unsaturated triaxial apparatus.Through analysis effect of time for wetting deformation then we find first wetting deformation velocities increase with wetting time increase.but in the end,wetting deformation final tend to stable.And wetting deformation of early stage bigger than wetting deformation of later stage Result ofGDS unsaturated triaxial apparatus comparing with result of experiment of wetting deformation for single line method through triaxial apparatus concluded that result of triaxial apparatus for additional block strain and additional axial strain were bigger.(5)Conduct indoor model test of embankment to simulate wetting deformation process of the slope of the embankment on engineering conditions of water level fluctuation and process of the slope of the embankment on engineering conditions of rainfall.Analysis change of embankment of moisture inside,change of porewater pressure,change of displacement and change of displacement on surface of embankment for rule(6)Using a self compiled program to simulation analyze wetting
