Air cushion vehicle (ACV) can be completely out of the ground relying on the support of the air static pressure. It is the leader in modern high-performance vehicle. ACV use gas turbine and air propellers to provide the desired thrust in runtime,controlled by air rudder.ACV- engine-propeller-rudder composes an energy conversion system. In order to achieve the best conversion efficiency, the components must cooperate to run. This paper analysis and research ACV-engine-propeller-rudder-matching based on energy conservation law.Firstly, based on the MMG separation formula, each module for modeling is build. Then four degree of freedom motion mathematical model of ACV is setup. This paper finishes the simulation analysis such as direct sailing, rotation, and the accuracy of the model is verified.On this basis, PID autopilot controller is design to contry ACV heading.Secondly, the paper thoroughly introduces theory of the matching of ACV engine propeller and rudder,uses of their operating characteristics curve,provides the method and detail matching process, accomplishes the matching of ACV engine propeller and rudder when the ACV run in a steady state.Finally, on the basis of steady state, with model predictive method, joint control the amount of fuel gas turbine and pitch of propeller, achieved the matching of ACV engine propeller and rudder in a transient state. And combined the four degree of freedom motion mathematical model, this paper finishes the simulation and analysis the result.To sum up, on the basis of four degree of freedom motion mathematical model of ACV,the paper achieved the matching of ACV engine propeller and rudder both in steady state and dynamic state. The simulation result shows the validity and accuracy of the proposed method.The conclusions of this study have high practical value and reference to carry out high-speed boat in high efficiency, energy conservation, safety and navigational aspects of design optimization.
